Enjoy “a little something extra” on these days held throughout the year at the Alexandria Zoo.

Join us at the Alexandria Zoo to discover the “buzz” about all things honey bees!  The CENLA Beekeeping Club will be helping us celebrate bees at our butterfly garden, adjacent to the playground, at the zoo.

-Take a closer look at honey bees and all that they do for us.

-Taste test different types of honey.

-Plant some wildflowers to take home with you and provide nectar for the bees in your backyard.
