An especially scenic primitive camping area along the banks of Kisatchie Bayou. Bluffs provide great views of white sand beaches, rocky rapids and sandy bottomland flats forested with large mixed hardwood and pine.
Kisatchie Bayou Campground is within the Kisatchie Bayou Recreation Complex. This campground is a designated fee area and is near the day-use facilities of the area. Nestled on the banks of the Kisatchie Bayou beneath large old growth hardwoods, tent pads are available upstream or downstream from the day-use area and lower parking lot. However, no drinking water is available at the campground. The area is not designated for vehicle camping.
Bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill and sandbass. There is a large, multi-directional open and covered fishing pier.
