It’s the most SPOOKTACULAR event of the year! Enjoy the sights, sounds, and interactive family fun at Cenla’s “wildest” family-friendly Halloween extravaganza. See all of your favorite zoo animals while you explore the treat trail, enjoy kid-friendly activities, spooktacular displays, entertainment and lots more!
TREAT STREET
Kids 12 years and younger can trick-or-treat at stations around the Zoo and enjoy goodies from local businesses.
FUNNY BONES ZONE
You’ll have a skele-ton of fun at the Festival Plaza! Interactive family fun and games along with a bubble dance party set to rockin’ music that will have your bones up movin’ and groovin’.
FALL ON THE FARM
You’ll FALL in love with this themed area! It’s all fun down on the farm with a hay maze, climbing structures, backyard games, farm fresh photo ops, and more.
SPOOKTACULAR SCENERY & PHOTO OPS
If you’ve got it, haunt it! Costume characters and perfect selfie spots are everywhere at Zoo Boo. Tag your posts: #AlexZooBoo
PUMPKIN PALOOZA
Looking for a gourd time? The entire Zoo will be open, allowing guests to visit all their favorite creatures! Watch the animals enjoy an assortment of seasonal goodies in their habitats to stimulate natural behaviors such as foraging.
ADMISSION
  • General Admission $10 per person, ages 2 & up
  • Train Ride $3 per person, ages 2 & up
  • Fast Pass $25 per person, ages 2 & Up (includes admission, all day train band for unlimited rides, and express entry). Fast Pass tickets will be available for purchase online only beginning October 1.

 

General Information

PARKING
Parking is available at the main zoo parking lot and secondary lot, Masonic Drive parking lot, Youth Complex parking lot, and Big Island. A shuttle will run between parking areas.

PLEASE NOTE

  • In the event of a weather cancellation, Zoo Boo will be rescheduled for Saturday, October 28.
  • FOTAZ Memberships and other zoo passes are not valid at Zoo Boo.
  • All activities (excluding train ride) are included with admission.
  • Trick-or-treating is reserved for children ages 12 years and younger and special needs individuals of any age. Trick-or-treaters will be provided with a Trick-or-Treat Card to collect candy.
  • Fish food, Aussie Aviary, and stroller/wagon rental will not be available during Zoo Boo.
  • Family friendly costumes are welcome. Ages 13 & older may not wear masks or heavy costume makeup that disguises the face.
