The Alexandria Museum of Art is the centerpiece of Alexandria’s river front, situated on the entire 900 block of Second Street. Through its exhibition program of an ever-changing array of collections on loan from around the world, its extensive permanent collection of contemporary Louisiana art and the state’s largest collection of North Louisiana Folk Art, AMoA entices visitors of diverse tastes. Alexandria Museum of Art Hours: Closed Sunday and Monday; Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm; Saturday 10am-4pm. Cost: $5 Adults, $4 Students/Military/Seniors, $3 Students 4-13, 3 and under free
