On Friday, February 25, 2022, the Classic Cars & College Cheerleaders Parade will kick off Alexandria’s family-oriented Mardi Gras weekend. The Classic Cars & College Cheerleaders begins at 4:30 p.m. and follows the same route as the Children’s Parade in downtown Alexandria. It features classic cars paired with college cheerleaders from colleges, universities, and high schools in Louisiana.
