Cenla National Hunting and Fishing Day is a free educational event hosted by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, and supported by local community sponsors, to celebrate hunting, fishing, and shooting sports. The event is focused on providing instruction and information to children under 16 on fishing, shooting, hunting, and other outdoor-oriented sports, but also includes some other fun activities. Even though the event is focused on children, everyone is invited and encouraged to participate!
