First constructed in 1964, the RPC has seen a variety of performers, speakers, and artists to include President Ronald Reagan, Martin Luther King Jr., Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Alabama, and many more. The $23.5 million renovation completed in 2017 added style and efficiency to this great facility. The building now features 4 meeting rooms, 6 multi-purpose rooms, a catering kitchen, 4 locker rooms, 10 luxury suites, new office space and ticket booths, as well as a merchandise store to get your RPC memorabilia. The Southern Forest Heritage Museum, located in Long Leaf, Louisiana, is the oldest complete sawmill facility in the South. This complex is unique in that it is a complete sawmill complex dating from the early 20th century, and that it has the most complete collection of steam-powered logging and milling equipment known to exist.
The site is available to rent for various functions; weddings, reunions, group gatherings and more.
